Terms of Service

Synergy Tattoo is a professional tattoo studio located in Rexburg, Idaho. We provide custom tattoo design, pre-designed (example) tattoos, tattoo consultations, and related services. By booking an appointment, purchasing a consultation, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

All tattoo appointments require a deposit to confirm your booking. By placing a deposit, you are reserving a specific block of time in our schedule dedicated exclusively to you.

• Appointments are confirmed only after the deposit has been successfully processed.
• You will receive a confirmation with your appointment date, time, and session details.
• Please arrive on time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your session may be shortened or rescheduled at the artist's discretion.
• The maximum session length is 6 hours to ensure quality work and your comfort.

• Tattoo rate: $100 per hour.
• Deposit: $20 per hour committed, applied toward the total session cost.
• Consultation fee: $25 for a 15-minute custom tattoo consultation (non-refundable, but applied toward total cost if you proceed).
• Balance due: The remaining balance is due at the time of your appointment, before the session begins.
• Maximum session: 6 hours per session.

Example tattoos have pre-set pricing displayed on their listing. Custom work pricing is discussed during your consultation and confirmed before your session.

• 18 and older: Must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of appointment.
• 16–17 years old: May receive a tattoo only with a parent or legal guardian physically present during the entire appointment. The parent/guardian must provide written consent and present valid ID. In accordance with Idaho Code Section 18-1523.
• Under 16: We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 16 under any circumstances.

• Consent form required: Every client must complete a consent and release form before their session. This can be done online ahead of time or in person before your appointment.
• Medical disclosure: You must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, and health concerns on your consent form. Conditions such as diabetes, blood disorders, heart conditions, skin conditions, or immunodeficiency may affect the tattooing process or healing.
• Right to refuse service: We reserve the right to refuse or stop a tattoo session if we believe it poses a health or safety risk to the client or artist.
• Sterile environment: All equipment is single-use or hospital-grade sterilized. Our artists maintain current Bloodborne Pathogen and Universal Precautions certifications.

All tattoo designs created by Synergy Tattoo artists remain the intellectual property of Synergy Tattoo unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Client license: When you receive a tattoo, you are granted a personal, non-transferable license to display the design on your body.
• Reproduction: You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the design without written permission.
• Portfolio use: We may photograph and display completed tattoos in our portfolio, website, and social media with your permission as indicated on your consent form.

By booking an appointment, you agree to:

• Follow all aftercare instructions provided by your artist. Improper aftercare can affect the quality and healing of your tattoo.
• Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Alcohol thins the blood and can affect ink retention and bleeding.
• Arrive well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten a substantial meal.
• Provide accurate and complete information on your consent form, including all medical conditions and allergies.
• Bring a valid government-issued photo ID to every appointment.
• Communicate openly with your artist about comfort, concerns, or questions.

Synergy Tattoo offers a referral program for partnering businesses and returning clients:

• Customer referral discount: Referred customers receive a 5% discount on their tattoo session.
• Partner commission:Referring partners earn a 5% commission on the referred session's total value.
• Payouts: Partner commissions are paid out monthly.
• Referral discounts are non-refundable once applied. Synergy Tattoo reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

Synergy Tattoo and its artists are not liable for any adverse reactions, infections, or complications that result from:

• Failure to follow aftercare instructions.
• Failure to disclose medical conditions or allergies on the consent form.
• Pre-existing medical conditions that affect healing.
• Exposure to contaminants after leaving the studio.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.

If you have a concern or dispute regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us directly first. We are committed to resolving issues in good faith.

• Informal resolution: Contact us by email or phone to discuss your concern. We will work to find a fair resolution.
• Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States.
• Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Madison County, Idaho.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by the updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

For significant changes that affect existing bookings, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients directly.
